Message Button Doesn't Activate

Fault:

When you get a message, the message light flashes, but when you press the message button, the screen says "NO MESSAGES". You have to dial the pilot number to the voicemail huntgroup to retrieve messages and to turn off the message light?

Why doesn't the message button take you to voicemail?

Solution:

1. Log into the system on port 2002 and resetting voicemail.

Type Command:
"iPVM_Stop" at the prompt, wait a couple of minutes, then "iPVM_Start".

On problem phone(s), do the message waiting deactivate code and this
will solve the issue.

2. A common cause is not having the last Vmail port in the VM hunt group.
If you have 20 ports, the last port MUST be programmed in the hunt group, as it uses the VM hunt group as the 'call back' number.
