Call Recording and Cost Management - Mitel

Call Reporting and Cost Management

Mitel’s 3300 ICP provides a highly flexible SMDR (Stations Message Detail Reporting) data collection capability. It collects data for outgoing and incoming trunk calls, as well as internal station to station calls, and allows extensive SMDR record format changes to accommodate such items as International ANI digit strings, Attendant Line Appearances, or Incomplete Internal calls.
When used with an external Call Accounting system, such as the (optional) ”Mitel Call Accounting” software package, the Mitel 3300 ICP provides everything all the data you need to track and report on your telecommunication costs.
With the optional Call Accounting software, users can easily track telephone system costs and summarize them in reports to effectively manage your telephone expenses and activities.

Record-a-Call

Record-a-Call enables extension users to record a two-party conversation when one party is connected to a trunk. Record-a-Call delivers the recorded conversation to the user's voice mailbox. Unlike regular voice mail messages, Record-a-Call messages are stored immediately as saved messages, so they do not trigger MWIs (Message Waiting Indications) on the user's telephone. When a user activates this feature, it is accomplished in silence.

Maintenance Logs

The Mitel 3300 ICP system supports a robust set of remote diagnostic commands through an HTTPS based system administration interface, telnet CLI interface, or locally through the console port. The Mitel3300 ICP also maintains error and event maintenance logs that can be viewed remotely or retrieved to assist in problem diagnosis. An additional software diagnostic tool, IP Phone Analyzer, runs on a Windows based PC and collects trace, status, and statistical information for all your Mitel IP Phones.
Traffic Measurement

The Traffic Reporting Module allows organizations to monitor and manage traffic over their network. This module provides an overall view of trunk traffic. If your trunks are configured effectively, you not only save money, but you also provide a high level of service to your customers. With effectively configured trunks, customers do not have to wait on hold for long periods of time.
